Why one piece

Every wardrobe app starts the same way: photograph everything you own, tag it all, wait. Most people quit somewhere around the twelfth item, and the app never gets used again.

Stylark was built on the opposite bet — that the useful unit isn't your whole wardrobe, it's the one thing you're holding right now and don't know what to do with. Almost everyone has a few of those: the jacket that seemed like a great idea, the trousers in a colour you don't own anything else in, the shirt that only ever gets worn one way.

Point a camera at one of them and you get a complete outfit built around it, with the reasoning written out, and a way to fill the gaps if you want to. No catalogue, no commitment, one free look a day.

How it's made

Stylark uses vision AI to identify what you photographed and generative image models to show the finished outfit. It's a small independent project, not a fashion retailer — we don't hold stock, don't take brand sponsorships, and don't decide recommendations based on who pays. The app is funded by optional purchases and by affiliate commission when someone buys a piece they found through a look.
