STYLARK

How it works

From one photo to a
complete look

No wardrobe cataloguing, no style quiz you have to finish before the app does anything. Here's what actually happens between taking the photo and seeing the outfit.

1. It reads the garment, not just the colour

The photo goes to a vision model that identifies what the item actually is: the garment type, its colour including whether that colour is warm or cool, any pattern, the apparent material, and the cut. "Faded olive camp-collar shirt, relaxed fit, washed cotton" rather than "green top". That precision is what makes the rest of the outfit coherent.

2. You set the context

Style, occasion, budget level, and whether the outfit is for men's, women's or unisex sizing. You can add a note in plain language — "it's for a summer wedding", "I prefer earth tones", "no sneakers" — and it's taken into account. If weather styling is on, your local temperature and conditions are part of the decision too.

3. It fills every remaining slot

Working from your item as the anchor, the app chooses a specific piece for each open slot — top, bottom, shoes, and outerwear or an accessory when the look calls for one. Each comes with a single sentence explaining why it works with what you photographed.

4. It shows you the outfit, worn

Two images are generated: a head-to-toe editorial shot of the complete look on a model, and a flat-lay of the pieces arranged together. Both keep your actual garment recognisable, so you're seeing your item styled rather than a generic approximation.

5. Every piece is shoppable

Each recommendation has a button that opens a search for that exact description on Amazon in your browser. Stylark participates in the Amazon Associates programme, which means we may earn a small commission if you buy something after following one of those links — at no extra cost to you. That's how the app stays free to use every day.

We don't show prices or product images, and we're not paid to recommend any particular brand. The outfit is chosen first; the links are generated from it afterwards.
